The sun is setting

Yep... the sun is setting on the school year of 2008. Am I sad? Not really. It has been a year of ups and downs. We carry on even though the students come and go. Looking forward for a break... though I know I won't get one as I will be busy planning Christmas activities for the youths,...AND the not so youthful!!! :>

St Anne's feast

Ha... Why was I in Bagan Lalang? Itu rahsia ... akta rahsia but I think some of you can guess what!

On the 24th - 26th July, went on a pilgimage to St Anne's Church in Bukit Menterjam. Also stopped by Bidor, Lumut Pangkor and then Penang.

Of course we had a fabulous time. The only catch was I had to sacrifice 2 days of CRK coz we suddenly had to replace Raya Hols on the SaturdaY!!

Followed the Senior Citizens from my church...boy...these people can really shop for food. Any biscuits fro Penang right down to Ipoh...they bought 'em all right. Also had a go at the Ipoh salted chicken. The standing joke was that there were 54 packs of chickens in the bus & only 37 passengers. So there were more chickens than humans travelling home to Kuantan!!

Bagan Lalang? Where forth art thou?

Ok...managed to arrive home in one piece. A trip to Bagan Lalang? Where? Dekat Sepang. The taxi driver from KLIA didn't even know where it was... I asked him how long it will take? He answered 40 minutes. After driving for about 30 minutes, he noticed the road was getting narrower and windier. He turned to me and said.."Ah moi, ah....sorrylah... rasanya lama lagi baru sampailah!" But luckily we arrived 10 minutes after that!!

What's the place like? Stayed at Seri Malaysia...well....seri malaysia is seri malaysia... Don't want to comment on that!!! The beach at Bagan Lalang was beautiful but watch out for sand flies though!!!!

Seafood...reasonable too. Had Sup Kepah!Nice!! Malay style seafood...yummy!! would I go there again? Well....maybe....with the right person!! Hahaha..... Romantic ma!

Work stuff.

Ha...So what's it like at my work place? You get students with very poor attitude. Have a peek at a form 4 class... taking a nap just beforemy class.There are only 3 boys in this class....all 3 were sleeping till on of the girls tried to warn them that I had arrived.




Last weekend we had a school camp... but they had it easy...no need to cook for themselves! Mana boleh? What to do? Students are so spoiled these days.I ha to sleep in my teeny weeny car for a night as there were not enough camp beds. Was not too bad but for the first time...I found that my short legs were too long!!!!!

Had a nice weekend in KL with Mr Hubby and his family. Not much shopping though but had to bring back loads of stuff!!!!!

Just got back from KL. Praise God! All ok. No new lumps :>!! Went to a couple of places. Will share the pic later! Came back to find my house filled with doggie poop and hamster ones too! The thing is the floor was wet ... the aquarium leaked!! Wah....spend the evening cleaning up...vely tired oooooo! And need to prepare for work redi!! Aiyah....malaslah

Have got the psalm ready ,....also to get biji selasih for the St Thomas signature drink. Biji selasih...just found out ...in English?? Basil Seeds.Wah.......!Also known as tookmaria in some areas.Cute, eh? Pandan? Screwpine leaves!!

That sounds so sad doesn't it? Let's see.... next Saturday, will be in KL medical Checkup, Saturday after day St Thomas Feast Day/ School Camp!!!

Life's not a bed of roses for me! Wish I can be like my beagles......sleep all day. Hmmmmmm.....

Latest addition to the zoo, I've got 7 hamsters. Cute little furball. Different breeds in one cage. Do they fight? Well they have learnt to get along now.The guy from the pet shop gave a good tip. Give all of them a bath...esp if you introduce a newbie to the rest.It works!!

Wow !! it has been crazy month since I last blogged!! Won't want to relive it so I wont write about it. It will be another crazy month of deadlines .... yeah!! will be dead by then for sure.

Fever Beaver/Zeus

Sorry the Molly, down with fever. doing ok now. Heehheee.... was fixated on the digital thermometer...kept on taking my reading.... ok now. Highest 38 deg. so still alive.

Crawled into church choir practice and back last night.

Have not been fair to my other beagle, Zeus. Have not written about him or even shown his mug shot. So today we'll talk about the beagle who craves for pets and hugs. Will not let you read your newspaper in peace. He will shove his head between you and the news paper for pats on the head. If you are reading on the floor, he will sit on the newspaper and refuse to get up. Even if attention is given, he will call the shots. He decides when its enuogh.If you stop, he will push his nose under your palm for more!!!!

O dear, can't find a decent pix of him. Hahahha... Guess he is not as photogenic as my Caeser.

Gotta go....have F4 papers to mark.

And the doggies had a bath, the visitors had a bath and the hamsters had a bath too!!!
"Redecorated the hamsters' abode!!" Hope they like it. At the moment they are exploring the cage!

Other than that the "Jaws" also had a shower!(Nature's rain for them)Smells and had plenty of flies as well as maggots! Eeeeeeky! Scary looking things....compliments from Richard!! Hehehe...luckily they are going back to KL with Rich!!!!

Rusty looks good despite his age. He limps a little now but still the most hugable dog in town!!! Ping is frisky and manja. Put her on the garden table and she thinks she's a cat lying on a throne.
MMMMMmmmmmmmmmmmmmeow woof? Any identity crisis??

The Visitors

Hey!! Look who came to visit. Rusty the Labrador and Ping the Shih Tzu mix. They came barking early this morning together with mummy, Richard and May. All the way from KL.

Just nice...tomorrow's a public holiday in Pahang....Hari Hol.

Caeser and Zeus don't look too happy..Have to share affection and foooooooooood,mah. But ok so far so good....they don't fight. Ping the Shih Tzu mix is rather fierce. She barked and chased Caeser away from me while I was giving Ceaser a morning pat. Wah!!! Size does NOT matter!

Remember, it is not the size of the dog that matters in a fight, it's the fight in the dog that matters?!!

The Klites have been to East Coast Mall and me? Aiya....no time to go shoppinglah! Never mind. Shopping can wait.......... I hope!:>

Caeser the mutt

Aaahhhhh! Got snubbed by my beagle again. Got home from work and she did not even greet me. Must be still mad at me for sending her out from the warm kitchen into the cool morning air!

Caeser is a tri-colour beagle. She is a painful mutt, disobedient, arrogant and yet the hugable and lovable at the same time. One may wonder how that is possible!!

Yep...that's the mug of the mutt. See that guilty look!!!
